Voluble Speaker

Introduction

It’s because of word … only word, influence, conviction, recounting, amusing, wars, battles, challenges, concessions, bloodshed, and development could occur. Such a word that either trigger war or get people together. May Allah have mercy upon Abu Baker when he delivered his famous speech, upon death of the Prophet, P&PBUH, which had thwarted the persecution and eased the calamities: (He who was worshipping Muhammad, let it be known that Muhammad died. And he who was worshipping Allah, the Almighty, let it be known that Allah is Ever Living). How badly we need to master the art of diction and public speaking to be more persuading and impactful. About 30 million presentations are being delivered daily to the world at rate of (347) presentations per second. We need to take a deep look at such a huge amount of diction, delivery, and speech to see the wonders; to see who poked their noses into the papers like the ostrich and would surely frighten when a whistle goes out. On the other hand, we would also see those who stick to the proof, argument, eloquence and figurative language, however, their voice might be mixed with a soporific tinge and bedecked with slumber pangs. Not to mention, those whose voice were loud and hands gesticulated, but shallow in material, mixed-up in thought, and unaware of the goal.

We would also notice those with a frightened look, floundering steps, shuffling, monotonous pace, shy, people phobia, with a voice barely heard by the people, how would such a person influence the audience? Or worse still, how could such a person in the trail lead those audience?.

Dear reader, all i needed from this book is to utilize the information and skills provided herein to the benefit of those voluble speakers, whose words send the shivers down the spine of the audience. Those when speaking, their words would hearten the coward, urge the frugal to spend, the couch potato to set in motion and the guilty to give up sinning. In a sense, those presenting would, when describing the night in the noon, make you feel like you were shrouded with the night tatters and moon beam. And when describing the river, you would lift up your dress in fear from drenching. This is what i really wanted out of this book; it’s to master the most revere skill and art (Art of Speaking and Influence). I have steered away from polemics as much as i could, and focus through which on the application. I dedicate this book to you as a key to success and a stepping stone toward progress. In the end, it’s worth noting that diction and public speaking comes with practice, and as the old saying goes; practice makes perfect!.
