Introduction
So many writers of management and practicians are of the view that the decision making is the essence of the administration process, considering that the management in practice and implementation is but an action, decision making and innovative thinking that aims to develop the suitable decision for encountering a certain situation.
It’s noted that the decision making as an activity covers all business areas inside the organizations and takes place across all levels. That is why, in the end we can say that the management is a series of the concurrent and consecutive decisions. It’s said that they are concurrent because they could be made in more than one administrative site at the same time, and consecutive because at every administrative site or level the decisions are being made in a connected series.
We have tried in this methodology, decision making and problem solving, using a simplified scientific approach to illustrate different topics that the learner of this methodology should be aware of in a practical light in order to be more dynamic and relevant to the daily life, whether for the manager, staff or any ordinary person practicing the social and family life.
The curriculum encapsulates three main chapter. The first chapter aims at “taking decisions” to learn the meaning and different types of decision making, then understanding the importance of studying the decision making process, and the quality and characteristics of the new decisions. The second chapter “Solving the problems” aims at understanding the logical explanation to the problem and its elements, and the influencing factors. The third and last chapter “Decision Making for Solving Problems” discusses the methods through which we can take decisions for solving the problems.
