Introduction

Development is no longer a luxury or synthetic issue in the business organizations. It’s inevitable, particularly in the wake of the knowledge openness, globalization, technological development and information big bang. All the foregoing have driven the organizations - of all kinds - to update their systems and themselves continuously, and what might ensure from the permanent need for developing the employees across all fields. Development fields and sustainability may vary; some might focus on the systems, processes, and regulation, while others might focus on the organizational structures, and the third might focus on the human element, which is the pivot of all the foregoing.

In addition, the development process and sustainability don’t stop at this limit only, because the employees in all jobs might have some weaknesses and strengths, which requires specifying the strengths to be enhanced and the weaknesses for bridging the gap therein, and mending and converting them to strengths in such a way that the organization would be buffered with more knowledge, performance and development. The sustainable development concentrates as well on the talents of the employees and seek to reveal them through distinguishing the talents of the employees, investing, developing and improving them in away that is beneficial to both the organization and employees. Albeit, development doesn’t stop at this limit; although the individual development processes adapt with the current development needs of the individuals, they would also extend to explore the future needs and continuous growth requirements in order to sustain their development and permanent evaluation of the influence of the development process on them and the organization, and utilizing the feedback for adapting and developing proportionally with the required outputs.

The sustainable development could be defined as being the development that meets the human needs in the present time without prejudice to the capability of the next generations of achieving their goals. Sustainable Development focuses on developing the land, cities, communities and commerce in away that would fulfill the present needs, provided that it wouldn’t affect the capability of the next generation to meet their needs. Generally speaking, the sustainable development is based on the basis of excellence with a clearly defined identity, and the ongoing commitment with the creativity processes, growth processes and globalization decisions, focusing on the deployment and disseminating information and exploring new markets by offering new products, and enhancing cooperation networks between partners in such a way that would increase the power of the organization.
